I use to use oovoo but they dont let you call for free anymore, does anyone know of an app that lets you call people for free from your computer.

Doubt it, after voip took off, $$$ only made sense.

So stop being cheap and just pay $3 a month for Skype.

Or, just Google Magic Jack. It's 20 dollars a year.

I doubt that there are any apps out today that let you call for free..

Skype is basically a bloated, pretty app for video/audio/text chat (any combination). However, Skype also offers VoIP for a nominal fee. Don't know about the quality, but it's cheap as far as I know. (You'd have to check the site for the details.)
