Vista isn't very bad as it is, but 7 has a number of things over it.
Although that thing with the explorer shortcut on the taskbar angers me. Oh, and libraries. But apart from those, I'm liking where Win7's going.

As for the "Record steps" feature, it'll be useful for the mainstream user (at least the mainstream user Microsoft's been targeting) and it will probably only develop further from this point.

Semi-related, does anybody else think Chris Pirillo is annoying?

I know Vista isn't that bad. But vista well if you vista doesn't it consume more RAM then XP also take some some of the VGA's power due to its themes and such.

When Windows 7 is fully released, it's gonna use less RAM then Vista, which I think is pretty cool.

they are aiming for having about half the system requirements
e.g. 1gig ram
1.8ghz single-core processor and so on...
They are doing this so that they can get into the Netbook market and bumpout linux.
