try some flash games; like age of war, just basic flash games from like miniclip and www.friv.com

or if you where looking for a bit more, try games like age of empires, hack to get more resources.

i started on flash games at www.friv.com , try there.

Really, emulator games like flash games aren't an 'easy' startup, just pick some single player that use native code
e.g:
Try minesweeper and find the timer
Or the score in pinball.
