I'm right now trying to (noobishly) hack MSN Messenger so that I'll understand pointers and stuff better.
So anyways, I find the address for the Nudge's delay and put it on the cheat table (I checked that it's the right address - it works).
I do 'find out what access...' -> change value -> double-clicked my address -> enter the supposedly address in HEX after doing a new scan and I found 5 address.
I chose the lowest value -> Add address manually -> ticked 'Pointer' -> entered the address I just found and put the offset and clicked 'OK'.
This is INDEED the pointer for this address (checked that too - works great) but it isn't static, so I did "find out what access..." to my new pointer -> "find out what access this pointer" and now I got the debugger list empty, so I try changing the value and I still don't get any information/addresses on my list.
How should I continue so that I find my next pointer?
What am I doing wrong?
