Yeah, I got the same thing no-one responded.

I think if you re-download CE you'll get the updated version without that error.

What are your settings?
What other programs do you have associated with CE?
Which version of CE are you using?

rightclick cheatengine.exe in program files and tell us the version. (lower than 5.5.0.29 then redwnload ce)
Also, make sure you downloaded from cheatengine.org. Other sites that have it up for download most likely cause random crashes
