Hi, I've followed several guides for pointers and still have a problem with correctly working it out for a game I play. I realize I should be using search, but I can't think of any search terms delineative enough for my problem. Of course I will continue to look through guides for help, but I've read quite a few in the Pointer section already and I can't figure this out. Thanks in advance.

Just an outline of my current method. Could anyone point out where I might be messing up ?
I search for my hp in 4 bytes, though it would seem that it actually works in 2 bytes too, I can find the addresses of my hp [I've tried this with all of these and the result is the same]. To me it seems like RO, instead of changing the addy whenever you restart, changes it every time a command is executed involving hp.
-I get a list of hp addresses, that randomly change, for example i start with all 100, then when i lose one, one of them changes to 99, then later if i lose one another one changes to 98 . So I basically saved all of these and did the "find out what writes to this address"
I've already tried this several times with each of them , so I know all of these get written from about the same lines of code which were:

00672d5a - 89 19 mov [eax], ebx
005a2773 - 89 04 8d 00 ef 7b 00 - mov [ecx*4 + 007BEF00], eax

I think this is where I messed up. I tried this method for both:
double click it, use the addy that the box recommends I use, and search in 4 bytes for that addy [in Hex]. However if I do that, nothing shows up. I've tried searching 007BEF00, taking the ECX value and muliplying by 4, lots of random things in addition to the address that it recommends. Everything I've tried was on a whim or guess, I'm not sure how to handle it from here? Could anyone help me out or direct me to a guide that may deal with this ?

it's impossible either way, the server will dictate your health, you can't change it.

I don't understand what you mean by that... after all people use godmode hacks in games all the time. Is there a reason why this is different?
