Since my first computer got killed by numerous viruses ( virii? ) to the point where it completely stopped working, where it wouldn't even turn on, my iPod has also become infected. I have sync'd it with my computer while it was infected, and I use it as an external hard drive.

After the computer was infected, all restore points were deleted, and I was unable to see the wallpaper, icons, or Start bar. In order to use the computer, I had to use Task Manager > File > New Task > Browse.
Some time after that, the computer completely stopped working.

I don't want to plug it into my new computer in fear of that being infected, too.

1. Get an antivirus on the computer you're using (I think ESET has a beta Smart Security that's free at the moment).
2. You can use the iPod as a drive, correct? Just use the antivirus program to scan all the files on it.

Connect your iPod to your PC and Reformat it....
Then Reformat PC...
There fore your 100% certain there is no virus...
