if you want to waste $150 for some "enhanced" version of notepad than its your problem, and yes that video is illegal but seriously common who pays for some typing software none of my microsoft applications were bough (except Windows Vista x64)...

Lots of people do. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to be sold by Microsoft at all. Although OpenOffice > MS Office.

Even if you get caught, how do you get into court?
Outside the US, A US corporation like Microsoft will be hitting air like crazy, trying to fine and arrest others outside the country.
