Well im introducing my self on hacking servers using proxy never did before, i rly dont understand why many tutorials told me to install microsoft loopback adapter. <-- if someone can tell me something about this.

Well i got a "hack" based on a mix of proxy and packet editing, that need to connect to the server, but i cant get it to work, i tried all combinations, puting my ip, then i tried 10.1.1.1 <-- (default loopback adapter ip).
then with my loop net enabled, then disabled, and so on.

Well this hack its only to use with Routers, but i have a cable modem, Motorola SB4200 that can be used by usb or by ethernet card, is there anyway to make belive the "hack" im using a Router? or it dsnt really care?

I know its kinda messy but im trying to sort my self out and now i got many stuff on my head, but its all mixed up Shocked if someone can explain me or pm, i will be very thankfull. Ty in advance. Very Happy

Any traffic that a computer program sends to the loopback interface is immediately received on the same interface.

Using the Microsoft Loopback Adapter, you can use basicly whatever IP you want instead of 127.0.0.1

you cant pretend to make a router from a cable modem, there two different things!!

cable modem accepts internet connect, router accepts and sends it out.
