I know that it does extend the battery life but i can just take out the battery and just use the electrical outlet.
So is there a way to Disabe Power-Saving Features on my Compaq Presario F700?
Thanks

You can configure Power Options (in the Control Panel) and let Vista optimize your computer for performance over power-savings.

I already tried high performance but it only raised my FPS to around 30..
And in FPS game, it doesn't improve that much

It has nothing at all to do with FPS, just when the computer automatically turns off the monitor or suspends, things like that.
