Cheat Engine

I just started to learn hacking using UCE ..

So I tried hacking stupid game like Chicken Invader 3.

I started with fire power .. It starts with 0 .. scanned for 0 .. alot of addresses .. whenever I get 1 fire power. i search .. searched and searched till I got the address.

I changed to 30 and my firepower was 30 ..

Then .. crashed .. I reopened. . and address changed .. I re found and pressed on .. find out what writes this ..

Why is it crashing?
Why is the address changing?
How can I make one address for each time I open it or whatever?

Couple things,
First see what module your in by looking at the assembly in the lower memory window. If it is a flash module, that's why you get the crash.
Secondly the game could be performing some kind of check for any alterations and crash the game.

Uce = underected cheat engine" custom compiled"
Ce = cheat engine

Have you done the tutorials that come with it?
Also since you are trying to learn, I would suggest reading some tutorials and doing the game it has in the tut so you can follow along.

This game is not a good choice for beginner.
Choose another game that has a tutorial written for it.
Trust me you will learn quicker if you do this, instead of freelancing on a game all your own.

First I should say that this game is not a flash game.

the addresses will change for any option after reopenning the game because they are dynamic.
I searchedfor pointers but I couldn't find them. so I bypassed this problem by doing a code injection.

I suggest you to at least do the tutorial which came by cheatengine among installation.
It has 9 steps if you do that yu will be more familiar with the dynamic addresses

note: In this game there are addresses which have the same opcode so when you manipulate the opcode all of related option will be altered

I did tut till i reached pointers .. then I couldn't T__t

the pointers was hard or yet I couldn't understand ..

I didn't know what to search for .. how to add the numbers ..

so i left it ..

Edit: Whatever .. forget it .. I moved on to CSS lol .. tried to hack the health .. searched for it and found it .. changed value to 150 but nothing happened.. freezed it and i kept dying .. O_o

I found what writes it .. but still i dont know what to do lol T__t

Any tuts I can read/learn?
