Should I buy a new computer or would it just be better to upgrade my current one. It has about 250 mb of ram and a 50gb hard drive. I can't give you my full specs ATM but I can tell you that I bought it in like 2005

Sounds similar to my friend's machine. Shit still uses 168-pin DIMM.
LOL. It'll be expensive to upgrade something like that.
Just build a new one from scratch.

Name brand name system like Dell and so one have a set of Recovery Disc so if you screw up. All you have to do is pop in those CDs and viola your machine will be back to the day when you first bought it.

Considering the computer is old, take your money for a ride and buy a new one. New specs such as Core 2 Duo will make things faster significantly. If you can put one together you will save yourself labour costs.
