hello, i been getting super high CPU temp readings lately on the software that came with my motherboard to monitor the temp,vcore and stuff.

the software is showing my CPU temp at 255 degrees C BUT I downloaded SPEEDFAN and now it shows that my CPU is around 0 ~ -4 degrees C!!!

Any one know whats wrong with the CPU temp??

This problem I have not quite figured the problem to but I know it's common for AMD Maybe try consulting the manifacturers maybe there's a problem with the MOBO? There's a bunch of scenarios for why this is like that. My GPU would do same thing when I play MapleStory.

Try re-installing both program's....
Or use a program your CPU company recommends...

You should probably check if the sensor on the CPU isn't broken... or if it even exists?

Just another thought... Maybe there is no sensor AT ALL. So it is giving you a weird turn out (WAY TO HIGH, WAY TO LOW!).

Lost in piles of dust... maybe your whole computer is? Try cleaning it so the sensor can work properly.

The whole problem confuses me a little bit...

Game and things couldn't do that though...

Run core temp to check if there are any faulty sensors on your cpu.

I have Intel CPU running at 3466.8 MHz and I use COOLIT water cooling system.

Before my computer would run around 10~2 Degree C at idol and when playing game etc it would go around 28~20 Degree C.
