Is there a program or something to copy EVERYTHING from one HD to another? And by EVERYTHING i mean like OS and all. I have an external HD i can use to transfer it between the two. But yeah, the main reason i want to do this is so i dont have to go out and buy another OS.
Or should i just transfer my regular files and torrent an OS?

There's a few out there.

Norton Ghost
Achronis True Image

Some hard drive utilities lets you do that also, but it does not work too well.

e.g. Western Digital Diagnostic tools has that option, but's only for WD drives.

Then it is probably an IDE hard drive. Just see if you got another IDE plug left and try to plug it in your new HDD

I dont know wether it is sata or IDE

If you already found out that it is SATA, it is most likely SATA
You just need to find out how many ports you've got left

It's called imaging. Get a boot disk for Acronis or Norton Ghost and I can walk you through it.
