Newbie here, just trying to create a simpler trainer that sets one byte of memory at a fixed address to a specific value, but I don't know the command syntax.

I've created a button to execute command, but as I mentioned, what is the syntax of a command to set a location to a value?

What exactly do you want to do? "Sets one byte of memory," ok "at a fixed address" still there... "to a specific value" ..............what? You want to put a byte into a value....

he's asking what command to use while making a trainer, if you go to make a trainer, then click design your own interface, if you do anything there, you need to use commands, he wants to know what commands to use there.

I can't find a command syntax for Cheat Engine. I create a button, and it shows an "execute command", is this just a command line command?

If so, how do I create a trainer with a single cheat. One that sets a specific address to a specific value. For example, with TMK, I can create a button with the following set memory command:

poke 12345678 12

to set location 12345678 to a value of 12.

How do I do the equivalent of this with a cheat engine created trainer?

add a autoassembler script to your table and add that entry to your trainer

e.g:
[enable]
12345678:
db 0c

or easier just add address 12345678 to your table, then add it to the trainer and set it to set value only, and fill in 12
