Yes, when you find what writes, reads or access an address you can go to it in the lower memory window and it will show you a module name.
That's your file.

thnx for that info, and quick timing as well
sry i guess my question wasnt so specific, i know the module is teh .exe , or the program running.
what i meant was is there a way to find the exact file in the game folder that that memory is being called from.
if thats not how it works please tell me how it does

Rumil
What I told you will show the module as the exe or a dll if that's what it is in. It is not always the exe as the module you looking in. You could even be in a windows api as well.
But if your looking for it reading from a data file or something I think you will need to trace it with ollydbg or any other debugger you choose.

No tips really, if you have an address already that's a good start for tracing it out.

well i've been playing around with ollydbg and i have no idea how to trace a address, i've read tut's and w/e but it just doesnt make sense.
maybe im just to dumb to figure it out.
and yes i have had the address for quite a while
i attached the debugger to the process, and can veiw the memory and such, but dont know how to trace a Address
a bit of help on Olly would be appretiated.
