If DB did, then wouldn't Nexon actually start focusing on the site (completely ignoring the so called fake email) and probably starting legal action. Nevertheless, I think it is a fake.

They would of proberly contacted his host first, making them aware of him doing something illegal.
I'm 99% sure this is fake though, and those nexon.co.kr emails were added just to make it look......more real.

That email was the genuine one that they copied and pasted, the original letter is genuine but that one isn't. On the other hand, this one is another matter, it's well forged and the email is not from an outside part.
I would consider this to the part where you contact the firm and ask for the referee number to check if its valid, without saying who you are (as referee numbers are publically announced, anyone can ask for verification).
Good luck, just make the right decision, troubling with Nexon or the Law is a serious matter, don't take it as a joke. (this is to everyone, as I know dark byte will do the right thing.)

EDIT: Well it's not signed so I don't think it's legally binding... can they even do anything to me if it is real? (not living in the US I mean... plus DB would have to give them my IP so they could trace where in the world I was from).
It would cost them LOTS of money to take me to court about it and they would get NOTHING from me because I earn fuck all.
