depends what OS you're installing.
If you've chosen vista it should work "out of the box", with xp you're going to need at least the LAN driver.
edit: nvm, vmware should work "out of the box" with any OS. _________________

you can drag and drop, yes. if you use NAT you shouldn't need your lan drivers.

Disregard that, I suck cocks. You could also map a folder as a "network" drive in vmware (go into settings, I'm on my Vista partition so I can't look it up).
Use google for simple things like this. Or VMWare help/support files.
EDIT:
Fullyawesome, you CAN click/drag things now in 6.5?
FFFFFFFFUUUUUUU
Also, the drivers should all be taken care of by VMWare if you're installing an operating system it recognizes.

you can drag a file into your Virtual Machine. i don't know if you were thinking something else, but you can. drag from host, and into a folder/desktop on the VM. let it copy and then yeah.
EDIT cause karakawe editted: iono what version i used, but it works. i'll tell you my version in 2 secs. _________________
