The newest thing going around now is that the universe is contained within a (very large) spherical "bubble". Outside of this bubble are other bubble with universes contained within. These other universes might be radically different from our own, for example, the laws of physics that are normal in our universe, may not be normal or applicable at all in other universes. Last of all, outside all these other bubble universes is, well, nothing. An ever infinite void of blackness. =)

There is nothing. The universe is everything and it is our existance.
Our universe is made up of 3 parts. Now, as we know it, all the planets and starts, and then trillions of lightyears after there might be another demention but it is still a universe.
Another theory (the third part) is that there is the past and furture but
that can only be delivered through portals and dark wholes.

| The universe is inside a glass of water, carried by a seahorse on a flying turtle's back (:

Think of it this way, the universe is the biggest thing. There's no such thing as a universe covering up another universe. Then what's bigger than us on the outside? Nothing the universe goes on forever.

I totally agree, except for that last part,
guess that void of blackness is called the multiverse than

| Multiverses and many other exotic types of multiverses are being considered by present-day cosmologists.

| Enough with these kind of topics already, stop asking questions or opinions about things that can't be answered. (As well as different opinions leads to arguments, arguments + cef = no.)
