My CD Drive won't open and when I open the My Computer folder, it is not in there. What should I do?

Also system restore didn't do anything.

It is not newly installed, it has been there for a long time. For some reason now it is not working. Should I just reformat my computer?

I'd check the cable 1st Shocked
could of came loose or something

Whoa your good. One of the cables cam out after I opened it up, works again thank you.
