The acer+the HD4870 isnt a good idea
I had an acer M3641 and i ended up with buying a new case/psu/gpu
The hd4870 will be way to big to fit in that case

Don't get the 8800GS it sucks.
Either 8800GT/4670 (ati)
Also 550watt corsair is enought.
And you might wanna have E8400 if you wanna play games.

Why the hell are you so obsessed with VMWare? When would/could you play two different games at once, anyway?
Just stick with a decent build that can handle anything: E8400, 9600GT/4670-4850, decent mobo, and enough memory for your operating system and whatever programs you will use.
Either that, or learn what resources VMWare needs for what programs/OSes and stop asking us every fucking day with a new scenario.
EDIT: Missed the last post. I recommend an ATI GPU instead of the 8800GT. :seconds Humper's 4670 recommendation:
Also, you might benefit from a P45 mobo if you can find one not too much more than your P43.

You don't necessarily need the VGA cooler, you could save some money by going with an E8400 and cutting that out.
Get a 4670 or 4850 with decent cooling (the latter runs on the warmer side if you don't have good case fans)
Also, your wishlist is empty.
