Today I started up msn, and I keep getting a troubleshooting error that says I'm not connected to my internet or something... I system restored already and it didn't fix the problem. I don't feel like re-installing MSN again, 'cause I don't want to search for my emotes again. Any help? +Rep to whoever helps me.

| I get that as well on one of my workspace computers, but it goes away with a swift restart. If that does nothing, I'm not sure what to tell you. Check your firewall and router port forwarding (latter is probably not the problem).

i keep gettin that to, u can exit msn and retry again. or just wait for 5 mins (mine sum times the the ie works but msn has trouble gettin the internet). or can keep trying.

It happened all of a sudden when I turned my computer on. Whenever I try to sign in, I always get the error. Like I said, I have system restored/restarted many times. Heres the link to a thread I have posted in the RS section. Someone tell me if there's any truth behind it, please.

I know the two are connected in the way that they connect to the internet..
I doubt it's the worm as mentioned in RS, but anything's possible. Try repairing the network connection? I don't know the Vista protocol, my laptop's XP and I'm a long way from home, but you probably know.

Yay, my msn is working again! I found out that 2 of my firewalls were still running even though I closed both. I hear that 2 firewalls running at the same time interfere with each other. Thanks Karakawe for the help! +Rep!!!
