How do you set a hot key in visual basic search and it said that there has to be a hot key property in the object property but when i looked at a timer there isn't one there and I know you can set them on timers because I have seen programs before with hot keys on timers. If and one knows how to set a hot key it would be nice if you could right a code for a Hot key "E"

GetAsyncKeyState

or RegisterHotKey, and respond to the WM_HOTKEY message.

RegisterHotKey is better, or if you wanna use GetAsyncKeyState you could do

Code:

bool bExit = false;

int DoStuff(){
while (bExit){
 // do stuff
}
}

if(GetAsyncKeyState(VK_E)){
if(!bExit){
bExit = true;
}else{
bExit = false;
}
