If I buy http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4167690&Sku=T71-3446 I would have around 100-200 dollars to upgrade it. What graphics card would fit and anything else deemed necessary to change.

That's, to be honest, terrible for the price, you could do way better for $600. I suggest reading over the third build found here. Building a computer yourself isn't as hard as you might think.

You don't need experience, just look for a guide somewhere to help you.

Zarr's right. Just look around at guides for putting components together, and take suggestions from people for those components (be sure to check it with some people either here or at Tom's Hardware to reassure compatibility). Check all your connections twice, and you shouldn't encounter any problems.
(Except on my first build where I did everything correctly, but the HDD had a head crash prior to shipping and I had to file an RMA, I was raging. )
