Don't use DevCpp, is sucks hard. Stick with what you have or try Intels compiler.

Also, Java is a really good language as long as you don't only want to program retarded things like bots and DLL's.

lol good advice uninstall visual studio and install dev c++, what else? using old unsupported compiler, which is a total piece of shit is really much better than getting used to professional ide such as visual studio....not sure what you mean slow, but probably you mean that your crappy computer cant run it fast enough, this doesnt make it slow.
