What is the best free anti-virus software? I just bought a new laptop and it came with a stupid Norton 60 day trial thing. Thanks. .

for viruses and malware, get malwarebytes anti-malware, killed a bunch of stuff AVG, and avast didnt catch like the common AntiVirusxp 2008 malware and even cured my cousins computer with some Ad destroyer 2009 virus. Try AVG (set protection to low because its a mad detecter) i also suggest use a firefox browser with a virus-in-site-detector _________________
