does any1 know how to figure out what graphics card, and sound card i have? PS my dxdiag won't tell it because i recently reimaged my pc ty

it doesnt work i told you i just reimaged my computer.....
is there a program i can use to detect it?

Try poking around in the control panel.
Control panel -> System -> Devices
(Sorry if that isn't correct, I'm currently using a finnish version of windows...)

GPU-Z should do it for the graphics card.
You can try Everest too, for both your graphics card and sound card.

If the card doesn't have it's drivers it'll show up as unknown device most of the time. Use CPU-Z to get the motherboard model number and manufacturer (most likely it's an onboard card) then we can tell you what you have. If it's not on-board, open the case and look for a manufacturer + model on the graphics card itself.

You reformatted, and don't know what graphics card you have?
A little confusing at best, what you said. However, look up your make/model and go to the manufacturer's support site to download drivers.
