Someone told me that XP Service Pack 1 has a bug/virus that restarts the computer...
I tried installing it to my virtual machine but then he stopped it saying that it can cause damage..
So does it really do that?

SP1? I highly doubt it, why don't you have SP2?

You can get SP2 online for free.

Google Windows XP SP2, it displays it on the first page.

Then just download SP2, it's much better than SP1.

Also check that you have windows automatic update... saves you alot of time.
