Is the other PC wireless too? Try connecting with an ethernet cable, see if it goes up.

No can do, I don't have an ethernet connection in my room. also I'm on a Desktop.

Correct me if im wrong but, the speed of the line that you are using doesnt matter. Ive got a so called Alecto DATAplug with a speed of 85mb/s but my internet speed is only 12mbit.

I know what you mean, but waht we pay for is 10Mbps and that's what my brother gets on his laptop.

And yep it's definitely something with my wireless.
