I tried to back up my system last night, it froze at a certain point so I shut my computer down. (It was still at the same point after 10 hours).
Now, whenever I start a backup, it says "Last backup failed", and it doesn't let me continue. Then, it doesn't give me any options. I right click the icon on my task bar, click "Do not show errors until next backup", and it doesn't do anything. How do I fix this?
Error code 0x8100000A.
Help please!
And yes, the previous file from the fail backup IS gone forever.
I run Vista Home PREMIUM _________________

You failed to mention how you are backing up and what software? Do you have enough space on the elected drives to backup whatever you chose to backup?

Simpletec drive, it has 440 gb free.
That's more than enough.
I'm using windows backup and restore center. _________________
