[Help] PC is making odd sound

Laptops have motherboards too, yknow. Besides, the beeps he's thinking about (vman) are the POST beeps, which normally indicates a problem, or all good. They wouldn't come from the speakers / headphones even if they were POST beeps, what if you formatted? No audio drivers -> no POST beeps to diagnose any problems after the format.

Try system restoring to before it started happening, let us know the results.

I don't usually hear laptops beeping at startup though. oh well, looks like SF said right again.
