almost all my friends have xbox and i might get it but first i need to know
for xbox live if some1 invites u and u don't have the game (or something
similar) can u still play the game.

| I own a legit xbox 360, never ever had a problem with it... Not to mention that i have a scratched SKATE disc, and the xbox can still run it. And yes, i heard in the next update you will be able to play it like the way you described it. (only what iheard)

zyndr0m doesn't know what he's talking about, the only think you'll be able to do is save games to your hard drive, but all it will do is speed up load times since you still need the disc in to play it.
Don't say "Oh, that's stupid" because thanks to fraudfaggots that's how they are doing it.

i own both, i clearly have to say that ps3 is a bit brighter in some games and smoother. and the xbox crispier which i liekes xP
I'd still go with the xbox due to the games i own for it.

Sounds awesome. But it sounds like you can just rent the game, save it to your hard drive, and play it anytime you want.
