hey thanks for coming in!

i need some help

on my ipod i have a shitload of music but its all from my friends CPU and he cant update it

i want to put on some Gorillaz but i cant becuase all the songs on my ipod not on my purchased list would be wiped

how can i update my ipod and transfer everything from my ipod to my purchase list so i can update it

go to the ipod in my computer, and enable hidden files. you will see all the music hidden

use winamp, you can download music and import it in your ipod without having to use itunes. Thats what im doing except the part about buying music

I think you have to use itunes to update it
