my friend let me trade ipods with him for a couple days and he said i could buy it but he hasnt talked to me in a while and it seems like he doesnt want it BUT

monday i turned the volume 100% while listening to Dracula by Rob Zombie and now my head phone jack is screwed i can only listen to the left headphone on ANY headphone set BUT if i put some pressure on the headphone jack it goes into both headphones.......im currently searching goog on what to do but CEF can be a big help if ANY1 can help me

also i wasnt "tricked" his ipod is a 30g mine was a 4g ipod mini Laughing

Other then that, there should be a configuration that allows you to change settings.

Or it was broken, and you were tricked into it.

its the IPOD NOT the HEADPHONES

i just saw something on inner parts & mechanics of the ipod and it is some1 said that a brown part in his ipod slid out of place, he reconnected it and now it works like "new"

i still need help

try taking it apart...and finding wats wrong with the connections or look and see if something is wrong with some cords with the headphone..idk :/

Don't fucking take it apart. Either send it to Apple or go find a local iPod repair. (They are scattered around the U.S., there is one in my town...)

Don't listen to Mania guy, and don't attempt anything with the iPod by yourself. Spending money on it to get it repaired is much better than losing ALL of your money wasted through the trade. If it was a 30 GB and your old one was a 4 GB, then you will still be getting your moneys worth when you pay money to get it fixed.

If you send it into Apple, then they will fix it for FREE. Rolling Eyes

the case is tweaked & easy to open but i WONT open it i dont want to lose my ipod over that dudes ipod

wish it wasnt broke & it was mine i want to put some porn on it for school

ive gone thru 5 sets of headphones with mine, ipods after about 10 months start to wreck headphones (something to do with the port),

you should just get your original ipod back it not worth the hassle to fix it even if it is a 30gig and you'd still have to pay him, go to a pawn shop buy 1 there. There's no point in owning and ipod that only works on 1 side of your headphone, crappy quality music.
