Ok so I'm trying to install Visual Basic. I have windows XP SP1, and it says i require sp2+. I tried VB6 portable and everytime I try to compile the file, it auto-closes. Any idea how to get around this?

Find the one your looking for download then try and install VB.

I installed it, and installed visual basic.
It says I need to reinstall
SO i resort to VB6 portable.
Every time there is a text box present, it wont even load or make the exe
any idea why?
