Long story short:
I was at a computer party, and i plugged my LAN cable to the switch, it worked perfectly.
I rebooted because of a Windows Update, and after that i couldnt use LAN anymore. I've tried everything i could've thought of.
I updated drivers, tried to redo my netcard settings back to original settings.

I have NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000Mbps Networking Controller.

What do you mean by you've tried everything you thought of? Did you roll back your system? Did you uninstall updates? Did you reinstall your driver? If that doesn't solve the problem, then reinstall your system.

Download the appropriate nforce chipset drivers from nvidia. If you already went that approach, fall back onto the manufacturers page for your mobo and download the drivers from there (these are pretty much guaranteed to work). This is all assuming that the hardware itself hasn't 'died'. Doesn't happen much...

if you plug the cable in and nothing happens like windows telling you that a cable was plugged in then your network card is dead the only way to have internet now is connecting through USB or buying a new network card.

Nothing, absolutely nothing is happening.
I downloaded ALL the drivers i could get for my chipset and such, EVERY single one.
I think Manisme is right.
Thank god for wireless.

yeah or go wireless i wasn't sure if u had one but if you do then use that thats what i use on all of my computers and no problems
