my current can't run FC2 at all (well it can, but so slow).

yeah, but I'd have to invest some good money on a new one, instead of buying the nice ATI card for 55$.
i rather wait if i will buy a new computer.
can anyone give me a good strategy on buying a new computer ?
what questions should i ask the seller ? what faces should i do ? (lol) what should i do in order to decrease the price a little or how would i know if he's scamming me a little ?

whats your specs? If you dont have a dual-core with at least 2.4mhz and a motherboard that doesent support 8GB RAM then buy a new one, if your motherboard is still good and you got a nice processor than i dont see why you need to buy a new computer. PM me your computer model ill give you specs sheet.

Bullshit, I got a 2.2gHz intel (E4500) that runs crysis on high with good fps.
GPU, 8800GT.
THO, its overclocked to 3.0gHz and the 8800GT to 700mHz
Regards Humper

I'd go with the Nvidia, any cards before 4000's with ATI pretty much suck if you want any decent quality.

I would go for a new PC with a 4850 instead of a 8800 GT. Also, your CPU has nothing to do with your FPS. You can have a Q6600 @ 3.8 GHz, but if you have a GeForce 7150, you still can't play anything.
Crysis isn't very CPU intensive. My 2.0 GHz T7300 on my laptop doesn't even get stressed to 70% when playing Crysis.

CPUs play a great role in your fps at lower resolutions, when you get into the higher resolutions they aren't quit as important. A shitty CPU will bottleneck a good GPU terribly.
