My laptop running vista (partition due to multiple OS) is running out of hard drive space. Currently I am clearing almost everything either completely, or putting it on an external hd. Add/Remove programs states that CE is 283 MB currently. I am wondering if this is incorrect, or if I should just delete CE, and install to my portable. I am trying to run vista on a 7 gig partition, and don't want to waste the space. I will completely understand if this is just vista, because Knoppix states that CE is under 10MB, along with a couple of other OSs.
Thanks for the aid,

Look in the CE folder (C:\Program Files\Cheat Engine\ by default), set view mode to details, and sort by size. I remember reading a thread about some cache file in CE being over 1GB; see if there are any abnormally large files in there. _________________

That usually gets deleted automatically as far as I know.
If it's there, just delete it. |

| it's cause it includes the size of the temp file, which you can just delete after you finish that set of scans. |
