I need to know the best language for macros, and if I can make it click on an image by a specified url.
As an example I want it to click on http://mwdirect.static.zynga.com/mwms/graphics/item_shiv_01.gif

Thanks Smile

Well, there's not really specifically a best language for writing macro programs in, and it's not just going to give you a function to click on a specified image on the screen. Rolling Eyes
Your best hopes, I would say, would be to get every other pixel colour in the image you want to find, and get every other pixel colour on the screen. Then compare the arrays of pixels to find the same pixel colours and arrangements.
If you find it, move the mouse to those coordinates and click. Wink

Thats such a long way of doing things, your right about there not being a function to click on an image, but i think pixelsearch is to long.

If the image is always in the same place, then its a simple matter of mouse move and mouse click.

Yeah I am using autohotkey, but I am pretty sure it has an image search function.
The thing is, the picture doesn't stay in one spot... Otherwise I wouldn't be in this situation.

AutoIt.
It's a scripting language for bots/macro's. It has some sort of image-find function.

I was assuming that it didn't stay in the same place, and was right. Cool
However, unless theirs a better algorithm for it, I would say it was his only option.

Is using javascript / a greasemonkey script an option?

Code:

imgurl = "http://mwdirect.static.zynga.com/mwms/graphics/item_shiv_01.gif"
collection = document.getElementsByTagName("img");

for(i=0; i<collection.length && collection[i].src != imgurl; i++);
if(i == collection.length)
    alert("image not found");
else {
    collection[i].click(); // if its an onClick
    collection[i].parentNode.click() // if the image is inside a link (<a ...><img ... /></a>)
}

It's probably flash or non-browser, but worth a try asking. Smile
