Vista is great... if your computer has the specs for it. If not, XP is still a good choice.
As for the version of Vista, Home Premium will be enough for most home users and most gamers/enthusiasts.

Thats why im gonna go back to XP

i love it how people make accusations like that without anything to really back it up. if vista is "crap" for you then it's probably because of your computer - like my laptop but i wouldn't call it crap, more the hardware companies' fault with their shitty drivers and support for vista.

| Even though I use XP Pro, use Vista Home Premium. It is much better. Bugs may be a problem, but benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

I've been running Vista Ultimate x86 on my main 'production' machine for the best part of the last 8 months (SP1 installed of course). And I will say its run better than any OS install I have ever had, and thats no exaggeration. However, I recently moved back to XP as certain anti-debug tricks and plugin problems were inhibiting my reversing on Vista... But there is nothing wrong with it in general terms... not now
