I made a script in dev c++ and compiled it and it works


how do i make it into a .exe file so it doesnt require dev c++ to run?

I am not sure. But I think in Visual Studios they do it for you.
Look into that.

click compile on upper left and it while be compiled in the folder where source is

it still requires dev c++ when its compiled

When you compile it, it makes it into an .exe (executable file) which does NOT need dev-c++ to work. Rolling Eyes

I reinstalled my dev c++ and it works now

it must have been set up with the wrong settings

what are u a child

and yes it does only my copy of dev c++ had minor settings that made them com out as .win files rather that .exe

Something tells me you weren't statically linking against the runtime.
