If I reformat my computer will my DSL internet connection be wipe too? (the most likely answer to that will be yes)

And do I still need the cd to install it back or just the DSL(sorry don't know what to call it, its the glowing box that I receive when I subscribe for internet connection)?

Most of the time broadband connection these days do not require the software disc, just plug it in and your good to go.

If you connect to the modem/router via an ethernet patch cable, then no, simply put. If you connect using USB though, you will need drivers and thus to CD to install them from.

Tip: You might need network drivers for it all to work. Hope ya got a Flash Drive if you do. Wink
