It seems that I have a virus that disables my mouse and keyboard but then I'm at my friends house I brought my hard drive and keyboard(It might be the keyboard it self) and we are using it now as we speak at my friends computer...

Now any idea what's the problem??

What interface do they require (USB/PS2)?

It wouldn't suprise me if the ports themselves have gone caput. I've seen it happen many times before. When you next get access to your pc, try booting into safe mode (tap F8 after turning the PC on before windows starts loading) and see if the keyboard and mouse works in that mode. If they don't, I would say you have a hardware issue (if the keyboard and mouse work on a friends PC then that leaves the motherboard). If they do work in that mode, then yes you have a software problem.
