Okay, i downloaded Empire Earth 2 and when i click on it, to install it just says "Open With", then pop's up notepad and crap, i have WinRar, whats the problem? thanks

The file extension determines the type of file it is and the program that loads it.

Example:
Text File - *.txt
Executable - *.exe
RAR Archive - *.rar

Tell me the complete file name and I can help you (including the stuff that comes after the ".").

And does your file have an icon (like maybe a RAR archive icon or an unknown file extension icon).

File Name: EmPire Earth
Type: File (All it says)
And its just a plain white sheet of paper icon.

and there no .exe or any behind it

Ok, right click then choose "Rename" and add to the end of the name ".exe".

lol, i think that prety much any exe can open the files... just copy one off another game =) dats what i did, just change the name to wat it was
