for some reason my CE 5.4 when i use the speed hack with FireFox 3.0.3 firefox crashes
is there any thing i can do besides get a different browser?

This is probably because:

1. You don't have the latest version of firefox or cheat engine

2. Your computer system is just shit!

3. Crap browser< you probably shouldn't look at this one Smile

This problem usually happens because you use CE with Firefox, and you wanted to switch it back to normal mode. You disable Speed Hack and end up with a crashed Firefox... I'm not sure on how to solve the problem, but you should just either re-download Firefox/CE.

I tried this out with CE 5.4 and Firefox 3.0.3. It works perfectly fine for me...

May I ask why you are attempting to use a speedhack with a browser? Its not just a gameclient you are messing with here, you are doing it with the browser, which isn't too smart. Its not because of the firefox version or because of a PC issue, or because of a bad download. Its just what you're trying to do...

You have to remember that the browser is handling other things too, not just the game thats loaded into it. I'm assuming its flash or java, or some other plugin-based app. Using a speedhack is just going to mess up the other functions of the browser. Its nothing to do with the game itself or the server or anything like! Just don't do it. If you do, its just asking for problems... don't post them up on the forum.

Also, if the game has server<>client communication going on, the chances of you been able to hack any variable (health, gold etc) are going to be very slim anyway.
