everything looks good but 60 GB HD space is horrible. I bought my laptop 2 years ago and I got it with 80 GB HD space

SLi is NVIDIA's technology for using dual graphics cards.
Just spend an extra ~$100 and buy yourself a 200GB 7200RPM drive, and replace the old hard drive.

I really doubt you can replace the internal hard-drive. Best way is to use an external hard-drive. A 500GB 7200RPM Seagate or Western Digital external hard-drive is around ~$100.
The Alienware is pretty good! For $500, it will play almost all current games on medium, and maybe even Crysis on MAINSTREAM.
You might want to upgrade the RAM. You have 2GB of 400MHz RAM there, which sucks. Check the FSB of your mobo and buy 3GB of RAM the speed of your mobo.

Hard drives can be replaces, but it depends on how easy they make it for access. Unlike some shitty Sony laptops where removing a hard drives requires you to remove like 100 screws just to take out the hdd.
