I am trying to make a teleporter for anarchy online and i have found the right addresses for coordinate editing, player is teleporting and coords are not reseted after relogin. But the addresses of it chanes everytime i relaunch ao, so there must be pointers. I tried to find out what writes to the address, but its only

fstp dword ptr [eax]

and searching for the address as value brought me no result.

So i am asking: How to find the right pointer?

Find out what accesses the address, not what writes to it. Debug it again, and post up the info if your still stuck.

ok, i tried to find out what accesses the address, but they are still float actions i cant understand. No one of them seems to be a pointer.

Everything befor the red line is accessing BEFOR i move the char, everything after AFTER i moved the char.

1: Are you sure that's the actual address and not just a representation address ?

2: Open the disassembler at that spot asnd browse up, see how eax gets it's value

Also, according to the movsd, EDI (destination for a movsd) get's it's value from [ebx+54] so in that case the value to look for would have been 0468a480

1. yes, it is the right address, i used it and now everytime i login i am stuck under the ground at coord i am typed. Laughing

the address 0468a480 just contains "1234567890" so i think it must be an address for showing the value, not for calculating, but see at point 1. Its all doesnt make sense. Maybe i am searching at the wrong point? Maybe i should try to find them with ollydbg with tracing the coord-changes...

I doubt it will be a simple low-level pointer that can trace yourself, so I would use the pointer-scanner and see what can come up with. Use that co-ord value you have as it is. See what you can turn up. You didn't mention whether you had searched or not at this point.
