I heard they're coming out on october, some delays. Will the soon to be older quad cores become cheaper? I'm looking to get a good SLi mobo and cpu for cheap. _________________

they are going to be expensive as fuck for a while I bet. meanwhile Q6600's will be found in gumball machines, and I will reap all the rewards when it happens.

The cheapest one is supposed to be $288.

Yes the new ones will be cheaper then, and most likely they will drop shortly before the launch of i7.

This/next month is like the last month of Q6600.
Going to be replaced by Q8X00.
I think Q6600 is good for its price and Q8X00 isn't.
