We have just received a phone call from CBC asking questions regarding two ex-Vanier students (a male and a female student) who we understand have allegedly been involved in an assault which has led to the death of a third person. We do not know, at this time, who that third person was.
We do not have further details other than the names of the two ex-Vanier students who allegedly were involved in this incident and the fact that the incident took place last Thursday. Please deal with this matter carefully. Do not answer any questions from the media or the press and refer any questions to Vanier school administration. We will, in all likelihood, refer any media requests to the School District.

The teenage male who has been charged with second degree murder is Clifford Frederick Martin. The female teenager, charged with break and enter and public mischief, in the same incident, is Janelle Peyachew. The name of the victim has not been provided at this time.
