MORE SPOILERS:
The weapon under the Menoa tree is this materal that is used to make rider swords. And Rhunon circumvents the oath she made to not make swords by having Eragon make the word instead.

Reading through eragon again.

Is the book worth buying? The first two weren't that great, but was okay for debut novels I guess. I'm considering just borrowing from the library. =\

i think this series was pretty good, but it was a little unimaginitive. there are thousands of books like it out there. if you want unique fantasy read the a wizard of earthsea trilogy.

I really need to get that book but my mom says:

How long does it take for a book to go into soft cover?

Brom being Eragon's father was obvious. The 2 can be 1 crap gave it all away.

Finally had the time to finish reading it, was a great book, as usual highly detailed, so it was a tad drawn out.
No big fight scene in this one and the ending is a little annoying after the length he has gone to with other parts, but still it leaves you wanting the next one so bad.

It took 3 years for this to be realeased, and i bought it yesterday for 27.50$
Discountpls.

NEXT ONE?
I thought it was a trilogy. o__O

Uhh... if you were following along, he made it into a cycle because the rest was too long to fit in one book. At the end, who still hasn't even meet the Gally dude.
